I have confirmed that using 1.0.1 KLAX is crashing the sim once you zoom down to the aircraft prior to starting flight. The sound will mute sim freezes then shortly thereafter straight to desktop. Removing the add-on and re-enabling the default KLAX resolves the issue. Running the latest stable MSFS 2024 (No beta).

I've noticed with KLAX installed (default disabled) that when choosing 25L it does not place you at the end of the runway. It places you at 7L 25R Hold. Where it will CTD. This is repeatable.

Once I remove KLAX Enhanced and re-enable the default KLAX it will place and start you at the end of 25L

Also ran the following commands (w/admin rights) and all completed successfully and without error/s. In the following order:

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /scanhealth

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth

sfc /scannow

Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore

RESTARTED computer as the last step.

It seems it may be the sim itself. Had several successful flights without KLAX but then started getting CTD again but intermittent. 2020 runs perfectly. Also running the latest NVIDIA drivers as well without the NVIDIA app.

I unchecked all the optional features and still CTD.  It is pretty heavy on VRAM, around 27GB used (on this PC I’m using 5090 32GB VRAM and 96GB RAM).

So far an uninstall and using MSFS 2024 default is the only way I can fly in/out of KLAX.

I was mistaken, I didn't uncheck all options, I think I had but there is no save button so assume it's automatically saved and action performed on selection.  I didn't want to give up and I think I've found a work around ... I disabled these 3 options:

Three flights so far and no issues.

I've tested with the add-on KLAX and it's repeatable 100 percent of the time. I then tested without the add-on and with nothing in the community folder and it doesn't CTD nearly as often but will at times. Same results after a clean install as well. System is corrupt free. It's definitely an issue that started after the release of SU2 and likely related to a Windows update or server issue. I also reported on the MS forum: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/676657-fyi-ctd-msfs-2024/#comment-5539984
