Kling92 Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I have the same problem after the new update v.1.1.1 but on MSFS 2024 . AP disconnect protection on. But I find its not only related to touching the sidestick. Also click and scroll interatctions in the cockpit with the mouse suddenly disconnects the AP. It takes 3-4 tries to engage the AP again. The airvraft makes rather violent movements in the meantime. I have checked control bindings but nothing changed there. No sudden Wind changes or turbulence from MSFS side. Definately occured after the new update. 1

Touching the side stick should disconnect A/P, as in the real world, you would need to have full, entire control if the aircraft just by pitching down slightly, for example. However, everything else is a bug- and important to note- in the real world, I do not believe touching A/P disconnect without A/P on will turn it on.

Definately occured after the new update. I think I found my problem. I have the Rudder (z-axis) on both the joystick and rudder peddals. This seems to cause some kind of oscillations in the Z axis and suddenly disconnects the AP despite the AP disconnect protection. When I remove the Z-axis from the joystick. It works like usual 👍. Although new phenomenon with the 1.1.1 update
