Timonier6900 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Hi, Sorry for this question but ... How to remove the covers engine on this version 1.0.7 for MSFS2024 ? Thanks for your explanations. Regards Marc
Nace42 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) it acts like a walkaround item, pitot tubes and covers need to be clicked off before going into the aircraft (need to be outside the aircraft and click on them manually) Edited April 5 by Nace42 1
Sirraj Posted April 5 Posted April 5 There is a new command you can bind to a key combination called QUICK PREFLIGHT, it removes the engine covers and pitot covers.
Swisspilot1986 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I respect this new function (engine and pitot covers) but it's not necessary because no airliner carry them on except for long term storage. In simulator we are supposed to fly so we anyway have to remove them. 6
chinjh Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Would prefer the pitot+engine cover be disabled by default and it being a toggle option on the OIS instead of forcing us to walkaround at every start but this also calls for asobo to change the spawning behavior as well. 3

Sirraj Posted Wednesday at 09:49 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:49 PM To use the QUICK PREFLIGHT command: Settings -> Controls Select your keyboard or mouse In the "search by input" box type: QUICK PREFLIGHT Assign it to a key or button   1
