Janniklpyt Posted Saturday at 06:25 AM Posted Saturday at 06:25 AM Dear Team, I noticed two issues with the reverse thrust on the a350. Those are not big issues however they are still pretty annoying. First, with my setup engagin reverse doesn't work like I'm used to. I have a switch bound to "Hold reverse thrust" so in other aircraft I press that and reverse engages to idle and when I put my throttle to max power it goes into full reverse and so on... In other aircraft it's enough to just press that button for idle reverse. I'm used to just holding it after touchdown. In the a350 however just pressing it makes no change, I have to add 1/2cm of throttle for it to work, which is a bit annoying. Second, the reverse doesn't have sound from the outside. If I go full reverse you can hear the engine spool up, but I'd like to hear some sort of rumble even at idle reverse.
Bigt Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I've made several comments to them about the reverse sounds being completely lacking and they have never replied. Doubt it ever gets worked on. Pretty pricey aircraft for the amount of issues and lack of depth.
