Hello, I have just bought the upgrade for my fs2020 sim but even though it shows up in the content manager as installed, it does not load. Any help appreciated.

same here... After starting a flight the spinning thingie in the bottom right corner just keeps on spinning. At one point I let it spin for 45 minutes to no avail. Thing is, sometimes the airport will load but most of the times not. 

I also tried to spawn some 10 miles away from EGLL when it refused to load, then I slewed to the aiport, got there, all seemed to load but after a couple of minutes - CTD.

I tried with different aircraft, this happens with default aircraft and almost empty Community folder - just the Navigraph stuff and GSX.

Have you tried loading in EGLL, pick your gate or runway, then zoom all the way out until you can see the whole world. Then press fly now.

I found this also it seems MSFS is trying to load all the objects before it will spawn you into the aircraft. I zoom out until I can see the whole of the UK and then go from there seems to work fine then

Sorry just to circle back, the premium version is for MSFS 2024 not 2020.
