Ueeeee Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I´ve noticed that the bank angel protection isnt working correct. In normal law the bank angel should not exceed 30° when letting go the stick. But thats not the case. In turns the bank stay at 40° or even more without touching the stick. 4
Wilford Posted May 13 Posted May 13 (edited) This is still happening in version 1.0.10. Bank angle should be maintained stick free up to 33 degrees when hand flying. When will this be fixed? Edited May 13 by Wilford 1
ykeyre Posted May 13 Posted May 13 (edited) This is a regression in V1.0.9. Furthermore, there is significant imput lag in controls. This is also a regression in controls. @Eddie Edited May 13 by ykeyre
Wilford Posted May 31 Posted May 31 This bug is still present in version 1.0.11. It should be easy to reproduce: bank the aircraft to 25 degrees and release the stick. You'll notice the bank angle slowly increases. The real Airbus does not behave this way, and it can be quite annoying when hand-flying the aircraft. Inibuilds team, please fix this bug. Thank you! @IniSteve @Eddie
Wilford Posted Saturday at 02:57 PM Posted Saturday at 02:57 PM (edited) This bug is still present in version 1.1.0. If you bank into a turn and then release the stick, the aircraft will slowly continue banking into the turn. For example, if you observe the flight control page during a right-hand turn, you'll notice that the turn occurs because the outside aileron is subtly deflecting downward. This behavior is not consistent with accurate Airbus fly-by-wire modeling. Please refer to the earlier thread for more details. Thank you.@IniSteve @Eddie Edited Saturday at 02:59 PM by Wilford

Thank you.@IniSteve @Eddie I've just tried this in 1.1.0: Full stick left/right - bank stops at the limit tick marks on AH - 67deg I think and remains there will full stick held. Stick released - bank angle reduces to 33 deg and stays there. I must be doing something wrong?
Wilford Posted yesterday at 03:08 AM Posted yesterday at 03:08 AM (edited) No, bank the aircraft to 20-25 degrees and try to maintain that angle without touching the stick. It will always stabilize at 33 degrees. The issue is that you can't maintain the desired bank angle. If you bank into a 20-25 degree turn and then release the stick, the aircraft will slowly continue banking into the turn until 33 degrees. Edited yesterday at 03:09 AM by Wilford

OK, I see what you mean - I have tried various bank angles; 10, 20, 25, 30 and the aircraft maintains those bank angles, so I do not see what you are describing.
