Featured Replies

As photo shows, I am confused that I cannot start the engine after I upload to V1.0.5。

Whenever I put the beacon light to on the whole aircraft shuts down.

Do you have the APU running?

No oil?

Try refilling in OIS maintenance page.

I can't start the engines since the last update 1.0.6

I have cleared the WASM folder I have reinstalled the plane. Nothing has worked.

Hi, this is a very strange issue that we're not able to reproduce for the time being.

For those of you having this issue, please verify the following

  • 3rd Party Liveries: Try without any 3rd party liveries in your community folder to rule out any conflicts.
  • IniManager Liveries: Ensure you have updated all installed liveries via the iniManager to the latest version
  • OIS Maintenance Options: Try to service your APU and Engines. Normally these should reset with an update/WASM folder clearing but try this to rule out any anomalies.
  • Assistance Options: Check that AUTOMIXTURE is set to OFF in the sim assistance options.
  • Control Bindings: Verify your control bindings and remove bindings related to MIXTURE or FUEL which may be causing conflict. Users of Honeycomb Alpha yokes should also verify no conflicts being caused by their hardware ignition switches over-riding sim functions.
  • Clear WASM folder: As suggested above already, if you haven't already please try to clear your WASM folder by following the instructions here:

In case none of the above resolve your issue, please share a custom save file (.bin) of your situation with us so we can try on our end. Please see below guide on how to create and share custom saves:

Thanks!

Engines will eventually start in a very abnormal sequence (around 2 minutes after the master switch is on). EGT will come down and suddenly come up again.

@cmdn Can you confirm you have tried all the suggestions listed above, including conducting maintenance on your engines?

From your screenshot it seems you're lacking engine oil for whatever reason. Normally as soon as IGN switch is set to START, the ENG SD page will populate with the right values for OIL.

The delayed start only occurs when COOLING is necessary and is usually indicated as such on the ENG SD page (doesnt not appear to be the case in your situation).
