Tcas might be the problem behind WASM freezings

"If anyone is suffering with WASM crashes in the A350 I would suggest try flying with the TCAS completely switched off. I suspect many of the crashes are being caused by the same issue that has plagued PMDG, and indeed happened to me a few times in the 737 in 2020 until I just left TCAS turned off. If I recall correctly PMDG last year suggested the crash was due to Simconnect becoming overwhelmed (can't seem to find the thread currently), but it may be worth a try until Asobo can hopefully fix this issue once and for all."

Wanted to fly LFPG EGSS in MSFS2020. After startup and long long taxi to 09R, the moment I switched on TCAS I got a CTD. So will try without TCAS indeed.

Anyone else can confirm letting the TCAS on standby stop freezing?

So far so good.  I'm in the middle of a flight and have gotten further than ever before.  Not using TCAS and not using any Navigraph functionality just to be sure.  I think the OP is on to something.

We have indentified something similar and working on a fix already; so yes, avoid TCAS for the time being 😉

I was able to complete a 3+ hour flight successfully with TCAS off.

Avoiding TCAS also means avoiding VATSIM, right?

A bit of clarification needed, so with EFIS Traffic off, TCAS on TA/RA, I have no crash at all. If I want to see traffic on my ND, can I switch on EFIS Traffic, but keep TCAS in STBY or TA ONLY? Would that crash the system?
