Boeing100 Posted Friday at 06:34 AM Posted Friday at 06:34 AM Hi, It seems like at the start of a flight, everything runs relatively smooth. As I power on from cold and dark and start planning my flight, using any of the screens, the entire sim seems to progressively lock up/freeze for 2-3 seconds every 10 seconds. Every 10 minutes the frequency increases making it completely unusable. It seems like to fix it i need to switch to external view to run smooth again. As soon as I switch back to cockpit view, it locks up again. I have cleared my WASM folder 3 times and am on the latest beta. Any ideas? Thanks
winsome Posted Friday at 02:36 PM Posted Friday at 02:36 PM Hi all, I have exactly the same experience today after the sim updates. When I am using SU1 beta last week, everything works smooth and perfectly. But the plane just becomes unflyable today. I have tried reinstalling the A350 and removed WASM files but nothing helps. Any ideas? Thanks.
turkintheus Posted Friday at 02:42 PM Posted Friday at 02:42 PM Same issue here, massive stutters every 5-10 seconds. I had no issues on SU1 beta, now it's unflyable, tried deleting wasm as well.

jaybird Posted Friday at 04:42 PM Posted Friday at 04:42 PM I am testing a flight this morning, on the new update, from some of the chatter I was worried about performance, but I've seen no real difference from what was running a couple days ago. Maybe try the reduced cockpit textures? Flying KATL/KLAX in cruise, using autocompression as well, everything seems great to me.
jaybird Posted Friday at 04:43 PM Posted Friday at 04:43 PM Try a different aircraft, maybe it's a generic sim issue for you, addon perhaps?

I've flown the FENIX A320 on the new update for MSFS and it worked perfectly fine so this is definitely an A350 issue. I also already have reduced textures enabled in the EFB. For context I am running this on a 9800X3D CPU and RTX 5090 GPU paired with 64GB RAM @ 6400Mhz CL32. I'm at the top end so my PC shouldn't be the issue, this is in my humble opinion clearly a poor optimization on the inibuild side that needs to be patched. Edited Friday at 05:32 PM by Boeing100 1
jaybird Posted Friday at 06:56 PM Posted Friday at 06:56 PM There's a principle in scientific/logical method, called falsification. Your hypthosis, that the A350 is broken, implies that all users should see the issue. But I dont and I am not alone. So it can't be the A350 pure and simple, instead it must be the A350 in YOUR environment, saying other airplanes work doesn't mean anything, its been pointed out over and over that the Fenix works primarily independently of the sim, this doesnt. I tried some suggestions, if they dont help it must be something else... I hope you figure it out, Jack

Boeing100 Posted Friday at 08:02 PM Author Posted Friday at 08:02 PM A new update is available through the Inibuild Manager. I've downloaded it and it seems for now to have made some pretty significant improvements as I no longer experience those freezes/stutters. Hoping this is a lasting solution! 2
winsome Posted Saturday at 03:40 AM Posted Saturday at 03:40 AM I am still having those freezes. The sim starts at normal and I can programme the flight for departure. But as time passes, the stuttering increases and i can't change my views smoothly. Any ideas on what's going on? I used to have very smooth flight during the SU1 beta. 1
steffanu Posted Saturday at 08:37 AM Posted Saturday at 08:37 AM I have the same, this is legit unplayable now. I started a flight yesterday, fps really good, as I start powering up and setting up the aircraft the fps drop. Once I started the engines and started taxiing the fps drop considerably, it's a massive stutter fest, you cant do much. I tried the external view which improved fps a bit but once back in the cockpit, back again to like 10 fps... from 50. Only with this plane, all my other addons work fine no issues. Please fix this inibuilds, literally cannot fly with this anymore. I'm on the latest update for both 2024 and ini350.
