MCDU showing weird UTC time and vertical profile lost

Featured Replies

Hi,

after setting up arrival in OMDB Rwy 12L via REREK VUTE3B FMGC and ND shows weird UTC times and vertical profile is not showing on ND

Hi.

Just made my arrival planning for OMDB. I have the same problem. T/D gone and strange UTC times.

Exactly the same issue here, vertical profile doesn't show and weird UTC times and weights. Same airport and runway too.image.thumb.png.c87cd986100f2b7029540e3f39152fa3.png

I got this too after giving myself a direct first with abeams, which drew a direct line to the selected waypoint but also a line from my destination (LFPO) to the aircraft. So I gave myself another direct to the same waypoint but this time WITHOUT abeams which then gave me also these weird negative UTC times. See my screenshots below on how I did it and which waypoints.

Step 7

Notice how after giving a second direct to the same waypoint resulted in negative UTC times shown in ETA / UTC column in the MFD and the same in the upper right corner of the ND.

Before my arrival yesterday, I deleted the arrival and planned the same arrival again. The UTC time and the T/D were correct at the second time.

Thanks, reported.

Can you please provide your OFPs where you had this issue. You can attach the PDF from simbrief. Also please share if you used SIM DEFAULT or NAVIGRAPH navdata option on the OIS 3RD PARTY settings page.

We are trying to reproduce these issues and see where the invalid values are arising from in these calcs.

Thanks!

@richboy2307 I have flown in the sim ever since so my simbrief flight plan is gone but I found the .fpl file within the \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\inibuilds-aircraft-a350\work\flightplans folder so I attach that so you at least get to see my route and some details of the flight.

I use NAVIGRAPH for my navdata.

Thank you for looking into this issue.

@richboy2307

Hi

I just have the same problem. The UTC changed midflight. I installed the Airplane yesterday so i might have the newest version. I use Navigraph Navdata, also latest version.

I think it changed around Munich, Waypoint KUNOD, somewhere around that.

Thank you!

Patrick

Thanks, will have a look.

For anyone else also coming across this, please also attach your latest 2 autosave files for when it happened so we can load into the same scenario to compare. For more info on Autosaves, see below FAQ post:

Thanks!
