Caribflyer Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 (edited) My TCA Airbus Sidestick has a slight offset with the calibration to the left. I noted that when flying the A350 with the autopilot engaged that the aircraft flies perfectly, but the aileron on the wing is slightly displaced from its neutral position as a result of the offset. In fact, if I slightly push the sidestick to the right, the ailerons go back to neutral position, but it does not affect the aircraft. I haven't seen this when flying any other aircraft so I'm assuming this may be a bug in that the sidestick controls are still active? Edited March 1, 2025 by Caribflyer
AbqVlieger Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 I think I have a similar problem, I reported the problem as "speed brake" staying up on the right side. I also am using a TCA Sidestick and have tried several different settings. i.e. with Spad.Next, without, same MSFS 2020 hardware setting that I use on the Fenix A320 or just a "default" hardware setting for the Sidestick and I have the same problem. On the ground there is no indication, when I do the after start checklist all of the flight controls are normal. I only have the problem once I am airborne. finally, unlike the OP the aileron do effect my flight causing the AC to constantly turn to the right (roll).
AbqVlieger Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 Try this, it seems to be caused by the Air Craft trying to correct for a poorly trimmed rudder. I used Spad.Next to calibrate the rudder and this allowed the aileron to retract.
