Problems with the autopilot.(MSFS2020)

Featured Replies

Has anyone encountered any of the following events?
1. attempts to fly according to the pre-set flight plan, but stalls when trying to gain altitude all at once.
2.Even if the rate of climb is specified in the V/S, the aircraft ignores it and tries to gain altitude.

*The Simbrief flight plan cannot be installed in the first place. The import itself does not seem to be an ID issue, as the fuel settings are correctly confirmed from the OIS.

Yep.  Tried my first flight last night (Hawaii-London, LOL) and I woke up to find the aircraft had kicked off the autopilot for no reason and was wandering aimlessly around the pacific.

I experienced a similar issue twice during my LTFM - KMIA flight last night. In both cases, it happened while the aircraft was over the ocean. I noticed that it was caused by sudden wind changes. When the wind abruptly changed direction or became extremely strong (+100 knots), the autopilot disengaged.

Hello.

Please make sure all assists are turned off in the settings and turbulence setting set to low.

Thank you

Is that your real solution?? Omg...

This is normal for addon aircraft...? Default assist options interfere with custom system logic. Unless you want your aircraft to have default MSFS systems, there's not other way to make it compatible.

Thank you

Yep yep yep, EXACTLY my transcription of problems! Hi partner...

I've got another weird one just now. Landing on the ILS 24 at EGPH.  It's CAT III, so I thought I would try an autoland.  Approach went perfectly smoothly until I reached 100 feet, where the plane decided to nose down hard, and tried to put a crater right at the start of the runway.  That would have been a bad landing even for Ryanair 😀

Yep the autoland is abysmal. Kinda embarrassing. Its a default feature for all the new planes.

The plane basicaly tries to kill you. Out of 6 attempts at autoland not one went as it should. At all
