simulation rate depends to your PC performance, if your FPS drops below threshold then 4x cannot be maintained. I just tried it in my PC where 4x worked pretty well without any issue all the way from TOC to TOD

What’s the approximate threshold?

I've experienced an issue similar to this. My sim-rate was set at 4x, and it was working just fine up until the 10 hour mark in-flight. Afterwards it was throttled to just 2x for the remainder despite my simulator performance remaining the same.

For me as well  when I enable auto time compression up to 4x it goes to that speed, but wings start rocking uncontrollably left and right to 30 ° of bank each side

And I use time compression up to 4x on PMDG 777, 737 and default 787

So I can't accept the answer "it depends to your PC performance", because I can understand a performance degradation, but not this abnormal banking.

I can't be in front of my PC for 6 hours or more, so without a time compression this aicraft is unusable for lonhaul flights.

Same here, I tried it on several occasions and for some flights I could'nt select the x4 Simrate and for the others I could.

It was'nt selectable even though the performance was better then when x4 rate was selectable and working haha

I don't know if its a Bug or not.

The following manuals, p. 43, contain this description.

inibuilds-aircraft-a350\Resources\Documentation\Airbus A350 Manual 1.3.pdf

The fact that only a few people in the world can play a flight simulator continuously for, say, six hours should be better known.

For me it seems to be stuck on x2 while having 80-100fps, so saying dependable on the PC performance it's not true. There has to be config in some file that we can edit which will allow us to control the speed by the sim and not the aircraft, otherwise what's the point of flying long haul? I would be more than happy to have ability to manually control the simrate. Not many people have 12hr to sit in front of the PC.

The simulation rate appears to be stuck at 2x for me in MSFS. Hardware should not be a problem as I easily get around 100FPS and can use 4x easily with other aircraft (PMDG 777, Fenix). I would definitely appreciate a fix, as I would love to take the A350 longhaul. With 2x acceleration this is just not possible at the moment...

Someone discovered in the Discord this seems to happen in the Eastern hemisphere in Asia and Oceania. As I've done flights and it remained at 4x throughout but when in the areas aforementioned it was throttled down to 2x.

This is correct in my experience, Tried a quick flight Hamburg to London, 4X no problem,

Every flight in the Eastern hemisphere gets limited to 2x. clearly an issue, hope for a great fix to come soon.

An announcement was made that this problem has been fixed in 1.0.1.
I will update and check later.

I can confirm as can many others that this was indeed fixed with 1.0.1.

While changing the sim rate to 4x all inputs to the aircraft were frozen completely after few minutes of flying. Neither i was able to deactivate the sim rate.
