where can we increase cabin annoucements's sounds ?

The thing is is that you aren't meant too hear the cabin announcements that loud in the cockpit. go into the cabin and you'll hear it perfectly fine

on the OIS you can adjust announcements noises as well

Hi everyone.

I don't hear the cabin annoucement's. The volume set in the OIS is at maximum.

At what stage can I "try" to hear them eventually?
Is there an activation trigger?

No, you can hear on 2020 as well if you change the camera to the cabin. I am not able to hear anything from cockpit so far.

Always doing it during preliminary preperations but still not hearing anything.

for me, the announcemens only work after setting zfw and block fuel in mfd, maybe this is your problem

Thanks for feedback but I can hear the announcement if I switch the cam to the cabin, but nothing when I came back to cockpit. Therefore it is not related with it for me unfortunately

I was able to repro no sounds coming through into the cockpit even with the PA knob turned on, my apologies. Passed this on to the team 🙂

I performed 2 tests
1: using inimanager's qatar livery (a350 1000) I have announcements inside the cockpit (using arabic language)
2:using third party livery (azul) (a350 900) I didn't hear announcements in the cabin (using portuguese brazilian language)

Could be related to variant or liveries

I am using both 900 and 1000 variants. Already made more then 10 flights. By the way, I didn't use third party liveries, all of them were downloaded via inimanager.

My tests were done on fs20, let's wait for the development team to fix these problems

I tested it on fs 20 and 24, the black button above the PA knob doesn't light up for me, but when I press it, I can hear the cabin announcements loud and clear

we need to make sure everyone is pressing the black button above the volume knob to hear the announcements

I am pressing PA button as habit from fslabs back in P3D days.. Before starting APU and boarding, during setting the ground frequency, after loading the aircraft from EFB.  It lights up in my PC. But I am not able to hear anything. I understand that announcement behavior is changing from person to person in this case. Therefore, not pressing the PA button is not only reason.

This button normally transmits your voice to the cabin, when you press and hold it you can make announcement to the cabin, it shouldn't affect the hearing under normal conditions. But I tried anyway, doesn't work again. When you press it, it disables your microphone for vhf1 as well.
