victor_hansworth Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Good afternoon, Congratulations on the upcoming release of what looks like a stunning representation of the A350. I'll spare you all the waffle but suffice to say, the aircraft looks very good, so well done on achieving all that your team has in such a short span of time! However based on the preview streams that are out, I'd like to draw attention to the incorrect wing geometry of the A350. Focus especially on the shape of the flap track fairings and how they taper towards the end. Unfortunately the current model is quite far off from reality. There are quite a few other things but these are macro details like aerofoil shape of the wing etc. I encourage you to forward these images to your 3D artists to have a look at, and hopefully, improvements can be made. The A350 really has a very aesthetically pleasing wing geometry and it would be a shame not to have an accurate representation in the sim. I also do hope that performance can be eventually improved to be on the level of other top-quality aircraft addons. Thank you. 1
Tripdog87 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I noted that the there is a spacing/gap between the inboard and outboard flaps and that space expands as the flaps retract further down. I am hoping for a fix if at all possible? 1
victor_hansworth Posted March 9 Author Posted March 9 (edited) Saw on discord that apparently the wing was 3D-scanned. From the video above you can tell that that simply isn't the case. Edited March 9 by victor_hansworth
