Hello,

I asked ChatGPT if the upcoming Inibuilds A350 is considered a "Study Level" aircraft. The response (copied below) was disappointing. I also asked the same question in a Google search. The response from Google (also copied below) contradicts what ChatGPT is saying. Can someone please provide some clarity? Thanks.

ChatGPT Response:

"The iniBuilds A350 is not considered a full study-level aircraft, at least not in the way hardcore simmers define it. Here’s why:

  • Not Fully Study-Level – Some deeper systems, failures, and intricate aircraft logic may be simplified or missing.
  • Systems Accuracy – Compared to something like the Fenix A320 or PMDG 737, the iniBuilds A350 may not simulate every real-world nuance.
  • No Custom FMC (Yet) – If it relies on default MSFS avionics in some areas, that’s a downside."

Google Response:

"Based on information available, the iniBuilds A350 is considered a "study-level" aircraft, meaning it is designed with a high level of system depth and realism, aiming to closely replicate the real-world operations of an Airbus A350 in a flight simulator, particularly for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) where it is being developed; this is stated by multiple sources including iniBuilds themselves and aviation news sites discussing the aircraft."

Hi TFG,

Rather than turn to robots who aren't on our team, I invite you to check out the many streamers and youtube creators all over the internet who have showcased it's capability over the last 12+ hours. Hopefully they shed enough light.

Hey iniSteve- so it’s a bit confusing. The Xbox version will have no cabin except some fleshed out windows and the bit at the front, galley with toilets? Thanks

It is indeed a study level aircraft. Modeling, texturing, systems and performance as per Fenix/very close.

Sorry no especially modeling looks off compared to the fenix. However in general we should stop calling things „study“ level because this would not just require a good model but also the correctly certified hardware (take x plane with the correct setup it’s actually faa certified with „correct setup“ being the operative word). In summary as long as it’s not like captain sim or any of the adobo planes it’s good enough to at least have some fun with

Define "study level". Fenix is a pretty good sim and I do especially like the feature of mirroring the EFB to a separate tablet or phone to activate failures. That being said, it's still not comparable to a simulator used for crew training. Maybe to a flat panel trainer. If we could have a bit more system depth in the A350 (e.g. in the real aircraft abnormal non sensed procedures can be reviewed before being activated) and get the external EFB, that would be great.
