Cannot service engines get error message 'unable to service with covers in place'

Cannot service the aircraft engines on either the GE or PW variants on MSFS 2020, hugely frustrating is there a fix for this as I'm almost out of engine oil! Cannot see an option anywhere to add or remove engine covers in 2020

Same here, as well as for bunch of people. Inibuild team is working on it but, as usual, it will take a loonnnggggg time to get a fix...

In the meantime, I've opted for removing the maintenance option.

Thanks, yeah I got a response from a ticket I raised as well and their response made no sense at all so I guess we will be waiting a while, crazy considering this isn't exactly a new aircraft!

Yes, I agree. They really should be more proactive. Doesn't incline me to purchase more stuff from them unfortunately. And some of their answers to justify not correcting things make no sense at all, especially when users are providing near perfect solutions.

Let's wait and see...

Hello,
We have a fix for this in testing. I will personally ping you both here once it's been pushed. No ETA yet but sooner than later.

Thank you

Hi Eddie

Thanks so much I will be sure to message again if it doesn't work after the update, appreciate you reaching out personally

Thanks, but unfortunately the problem isn't solved.

I did a full desinstall and a full reinstall and still have the same covers in place issue.

Hello again,

Very odd. We are 100% sure it has been resolved. Please check your content managers and verify only the latest build that was pushed (1.1.5) shows up on the list. Before launching the simulator, please also clear your WASM file for the A300:

  1.  Close the simulator if it is running.
  2. Navigate to:

    Steam:

    Quote

    %APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\inibuilds-aircraft-a300-600

    MS Store:

    Quote

    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\Packages\inibuilds-aircraft-a300-600

  3. Delete all the contents of said folder. The contents will be re-generated next time you load into a flight with the aircraft.

Note: This will reset your EFB Throttle Calibration and EFB Settings so they should re-done the next time you load into the aircraft.

Let me know if THIS finally resolves it :). Thank you for your patience everybody!

Is there a change log somewhere for this update? I see nothing listed here in the update list.
Also, FWIW, I have not had a single WASM crash since deactivating the maintenance function.

On my inimanager I don,t have the update neither, (msfs 2020), I reinstalled it minutes ago and still 1.1.4.

In my inimanager it is 1.1.5 updated 29 Jan (FS2020). I deleted the "inibuilds-aircraft-a300-600" folder but problem remains.

Hello everyone,

It seems we were 50% sure it was fixed; we pushed the fix for the FS2024-Compatible-Edition install and it didn't end up making it into the FS2020-edition install. Terribly sorry about this inconvenience. Should be correct now. Please find the update on the iniManager as usual, however I strongly recommend a complete uninstall then reinstall of the FS2020 version. I have quadruple checked that the install downloads the correct version now. If any issue persists, please refer to my above message on how to trouble-shoot.
