FD are switching off randomly

Featured Replies

Dear Ini Team,

On the 330 (200 and 300) when doing long haul flights, the FD are switching off automatically for no reason. I have checked every binding linked to the FD and removed them all but the issue persist.

This has for effect to disconnect the  AP and the plane starts doing crazy things.

PS : all my assistance boxes are unticked.

Hello,

Can you two confirm whether or not this is still recurring?

Thank you

It’s been some flights it did not disconnect… is it fixed ?

Not sure. It seems it may have been a one-off issue in the past. I do not believe any updates have been pushed addressing this, no.

This keeps happening to me regularly.

Ive noticed it happens when my KB/mouse are disconnected.
Ive cleared all key bindings and it still happens.

It’s happening to me as well. TWO ISSUES one is the FD keeps turning off. Two when I direct to a waypoint the whole flight plan gets deleted or at least some of it

I've only had this happen once and I saw what happened. The wind in the sim suddenly changed pushing the speed up into the red overspeed area. This prompted the autopilot to disengage and the flight directors to turn off
