JRBarrett Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 As the title says, toggle chocks and covers does not work from the EFB. The buttons are red and remain so when pressed. I can remove both from outside the aircraft in walk-around mode. Toggle GPU and toggle jetway do work in the EFB Jim Barrett 1
Eddie Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Hi there, This is known; currently the only way to remove the chocks/covers is by doing it in the walk-around mode. Thank you 1 EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
Akitas Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Hi, if I forget to remove the covers before entering the cabin, how do I get back down, in walk-around mode? 🤭

Ace Airstream Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Retrying MSFS2024 on Game Pass to see if it has improved enough to buy. (Using third-party payware does seem to make things much easier) Now trying a flight in A321LR iniBuilds. In Walkaround mode, I can remove Engine covers but clicking on nosewheel chocks has no effect. Still showing green on "Toggle Chocks" in EFB so can't push back. Amazed that 6 months on something as simple as this has not been fixed. How am I now supposed to remove the chocks when they are not visible and toggling in the EFB has no effect- and no, I refuse to restart the flight/sim- it shouldn't be necessary and is a massive waste of my setup time... 1
Ace Airstream Posted October 2 Posted October 2 (edited) I've just tried a flight again in the A321, having forgotten that this was an issue, and am disappointed to see that a) this is STILL an issue, and b) no-one from iniBuilds has replied to update us on progress. In many respects this looks to be a very good model and an excellent built-in aircraft for MSFS2024, but that's a bit pointless if you can't actually move the aircraft! Has anyone found a work around to this issue or are you all still grounded? Edit- somehow, I eventually managed to get the chocks to remove- not sure what I did, but eventually in walk-around mode I clicked on part of the chocks that I had previously tried, and they vanished, but it wasn't clear why they could be removed at that point when clicking on them earlier in the same place (the rear chock on the nosewheel, near where the cord meets the rubber). It should still be possible to remove them via the EFB and I don't know why this hasn't been solved yet? Could there be a clash with GSX? Edited October 2 by Ace Airstream

Could there be a clash with GSX? for future reference, Asobo added a key binding, in SU2 I believe, for removing all the walkaround items, I've personally bound it to the same button command as entering/leaving the cockpit. It's called 'Quick Preflight' in the controls menu. Edited October 3 by Tuskin38
