First time I've flown this plane.

I'm using the RR passenger variant and when I got close to CL400, it dropped down to under FL390, and then went back up and then down to FL374 and has been holding there for some time. The MCP is set to FL400.

Anyone else seeing this?

Hi @specialsk

Can't say I've seen this. Can you please check your assistance options to ensure that the AI Pilot settings aren't conflicting with the autopilot?

Also under the Assistance settings, please turn the turbulence to "LOW" as the effect of the winds can be a big exaggerated for larger aircraft on the "REALISTIC" setting by default.

Thanks!

Hi,

I never really flew the A330 much if at all after this as there was a drop of other aircraft that I was playing with.

I did go back and check my settings and everything was ticked OFF except Automixture, which I disabled. Next time I get back in that bird we will see if that fixes it.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm having the same issue. Currenty in the RR with a cruise altitude of FL 380. However the aircraft is going up and down between FL 370 and 375. As you can see in the image it's not exceeding REC MAX in the FMC. I also find the left banking to be a bit strange to compensate for the cross wind. All assistances are disabled though so it shouldn't be a sim related trim issue.

Just realised an incorrect rudder key binding might be the issue. Will do another test run tomorrow!
