Same here. Five days in and I still can't get the A330s to load (Gave it 4hrs). Stayed up till 2am est (less busy hours) to try again and it's still spinning. The A321N also had issues but starting today I can load in....but only in the EI livery.

Hi, same crashes for me with the Livery of Swiss downloaded on Ini manager. I’ve tried all the day yesterday after the patch released for FS2024 and my sim continues to crash every Time when I choose the Swiss livery for the A330-300 RR. Please do something

Hi everyone,

We are not able to reproduce these issues however other users have noted the potential cause is that the "streamed package" hasn't finished loading in full:

User Rian007 on discord:
I find a temporary workaround for myself, not sure if it's working for everyone. But it worth to try:

  1. Select Aircraft as usual (in this case I am using a330-300 (RR)
  2. After navigating to livery selection page, choose any livery that is coming from streamed data (not from iniManager).
  3. See bottom right of the window, there will be a loading indicator (sometime you have to wait for a while until loading indicator appears). Wait until it's completed
  4. Then choose any livery from iniManager you want to fly with (in this case I select Virgin)

Alternatively, you may try the following:

  • Clear WASM folder:
  • Re-download package:
  • Try to Run the sim as Administrator and add exclusions for sim installation folders to your antivirus program.

If all else fails, try a full sim reinstall.

Thanks!

I'm sorry for not using English, so I decided to say it again.

Unfortunately, I tried all of the above and it worked the first time, but the problem reappeared after restarting the game, which resulted in me being stuck with the preset liveries. 🤔

But occasionally I can change the paint job normally again. This happened after I restarted the game 3 times. It seems to be all about luck. 😅

I know it is not easy to develop an aircraft. It is normal for some problems to occur. I can wait for it to get better gradually.

Many thanks to inibuilds for bringing us these eye-catching aircraft.I hope inibuilds can further confirm the solution to the problem to give players a better experience.

Thank you

I just noticed repeatedly since 2 days ago i cant end my flight or go into the main menu as it will result in MSFS being in jammed state or unresponsive with the only workaround is to force terminate the app. Relaunching the sim and selecting any of the streamed liveries almost highly guarantee a crashed sim desktop even on configure page. Meanwhile those that are downloaded from flightsim.appears to be working. For now i have find a little workaround but its kind of a nuisance to keep doing this now.

Steps

1) identify which livery has been causing crashing Example A330-300GE Malaysia repaint always caused crash when selected.
2) Launch MSFS 2024 on the main menu select option>configure>Select A330-200.
3) Ensure A330-200 RR default Airbus livery is selected and make sure it loads the aircraft completely
4) Then select variants and select other variants like the VIP streamed liveries and select any of it and wait for the plane to load.
5) Now go back to variant that you want and res-elect the problematic livery that has been causing crashes. It should technically load without causing a crash to desktop scenario
6) if it loads now you can load up free flight.

Note if end flight causes the sim to jammed its quite likely reselecting the very same livery would cause guaranteed CTD and you would have to repeat the steps above.

What i am suspecting end flight causes the streamed downloaded package files associated with that livery to become corrupted in someway does not help when you prompt task manager to force terminate MSFS2024. Doing the supposed workaround steps above seems to tell MSFS 2024 to redownload the associated package files for the broken livery but it would only work if another livery or variant gets correctly loaded first.

I tried this way and it did solve the problem, but it seems to have caused a significant decrease in my FPS.

I'm not sure if others have the same problem, but in my case, the FPS dropped from 40 to less than 30.

Although it seems not very perfect, but I still thank you very much for proposing this method.😀
