November 20, 20241 yr It looks like the issue with the Trim Indicator light (backlight) not working correctly is present in MSFS 2024. A similar issue seems to now be affecting the Garmin 430 and Transponder units in MSFS. 2024... The Radial Encoder to set the frequency for COM/NAV also does not seem to be working. It would also be nice to get the Tooltip to appear correctly for when you are setting the altimeter. I fly VR, but these issues are also present in non-VR. It would be nice to get this issue resolved for both builds.
November 20, 20241 yr Author Here you can see that the flood lights and instrument lights are turned all he way up. But the Garmin 430 and Transponder screens are still very very faint. After another test I found the radial encoder was working... Maybe I was in another mode or aircraft. Edited November 20, 20241 yr by Jonathan Lee
March 30, 20251 yr Another problem with the garmin 430 is that it can't be popped out and moved to another screen (like a real sim gear GNS430)
April 12, 20251 yr The flight model for the aircraft is severely lacking. I fly this aircraft out of Pueblo, Colorado daily. This simulated aircraft will only hold about 90 KIAS in straight-and-level flight while the real aircraft can easily hold between 110-120 KIAS under most conditions. Likewise, this simulated aircraft cannot hold a ~500 fpm climb at 70 KIAS or even 90 KIAS which are easily obtained in the real thing. The trim function (not just the trim indicator) appears to be broken. Shortly after adding nose-up trim, and responding to it a little more aggressively than the actual aircraft, the aircraft will begin to settle into a nose-down attitude, once again.
