hi, im looking for any help with the ini bulids a320 neo.

i thought i would try the a320neo v2 after watching a few streams but when loading in i found the main panel flood lights

not working but i can see them illuminated under the fcu as shown in screenshots below. i have deleted the files a320 neo v2

from the content manager and reinstalled but still not working. i have also removed everything in the community folder including

p42 sim fx. the lighting still dosen't work. 

im not sure if its a bug but i have noticed if using the panel states from efb the flood light and dome light don't work.

 

i have searched online in forum but can't anything.

Yes i also just found this out that the flood light control on the pedlestall no longer works :(

yeah its so dark doing night flights, im not sure if its aau3 update or was not working before ? 

 

I can also confirm. Found this thread after updating yesterday and flying tonight.

Hi, is there timeline for a fix yet? It´s really sad, I loved the 320v2 since it´s release and now it´s basically unusable in evening or night conditions.

Apologies for the late reply. There is a fix in the works and all lighting-related bugs have been acknowledged and noted. Can't really give a timeline unfortunately but rest assured, as soon as possible.

Hi, try setting your turbulence settings in the MSFS Options to low or medium and try to reproduce again.

It will be very much helpful for us if the Cockpit Flood lights are recovered and they need a real quick fix as it will be pitch dark flying during the nights

Hello again, I understand however it is a little more complicated than that and the process is lengthier than our own products since this is a Microsoft default aircraft. It'll come as soon as possible, no date for now unfortunately.

thanks for your work, we all appreciate it, but it's not clear for us (at least some of us) how much it is complicated to fix a function that worked once, but not work anymore.
It could be possible that you have other things to do with the incoming of MSFS2024, and - for me - it would be appreciated that as such basic feature could have, after more than a month, at least a date of fix, or a schedule, or a new about it to say that it is delayed for other reason.
All things considered we speak about a fly sim of course, so there is no crucial issue but, it could be better if communication is fluent 🙂

Hi,

As mentioned, this is mostly out of our control. The update is not a simple "patch fix" that can be pushed through the content manager. It needs to be pushed as a sim update and that is something I assume Microsoft is reluctant on doing when it comes to smaller patches (note this is just my assumption). Regardless, we are at the mercy of Microsoft and when they would like to distribute the fix is entirely up to them; that way we cannot provide any dates or schedules, and I doubt they would be able to either. I am hoping it is sooner than later though!

my Xbox Series X finally just downloaded an update for the A320 V2 for FS2020. Unfortunately, the problem with the cockpit lights is still around.

this can easily be fixed with edit to systems.cfg.  these config files should be distributed unencrypted so user mods can fix these simple problems.  

Is there any update on this? It's been months now the aircraft practically unusable during night operations. 

Today I installed the new msfs 2020 update, including some fixes for the a320neo V2, but the lights still don't work. How can I fix this? Is there any way to update the airplane?

Love the aircraft, but still the light issue has not been fixed, any ide as to when?

This issue has already been fixed pending a live-patch push into the simulator. No ETA on when that will be as it is entirely up to MS/Asobo and when they'd like to push updates out, like I've said above already.

Is that also coming to the 2024 sim? Also not working there.
