A3320 neo v2 MSFS crashes and MSFS shutdowns

Featured Replies

Hi,

Once I picks A3320 neov2, choose an airport and press fly, during the loading the MSFS shutdowns and gets me out on windows.

I have tried to delete any files within ...\packages\microsoft-aircraft-a320neo but did not work.

Thank you

Can you confirm that you tried to delete the files in either one of these locations only? If you delete the files in any other location that could cause the plane to not function properly. In which case you should delete and re-install the plane via the in-game content manager.

Steam:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\microsoft-aircraft-a320neo

MS Store:

Quote

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\Packages\microsoft-aircraft-a320neo

If you're still having issues, please try with an empty community folder to rule out any addon conflicts.

To run with a blank community folder without losing your addons:
1. Rename your existing community folder to ``_Community``
2. Create a new ``Community`` folder in its place.
3. Run the sim and see if same problem persists.

After finished testing, you can close the sim, and restore your original folder as follows:
1. Delete the new ``Community`` folder you made
2. Rename the ``_Community`` folder to ``Community``

Thanks!

I have the steam version and I deleted only the contents that you refer to your reply. The only contents I found was a folder called "work".

Also my community folder is completely empty. The MSFS installation is almost new and I haven't added any addons.

To be more precise, I have run the A3320 neo V2 only once. Afterwards whenever I tried to run it I have the reported issue.

I will try to delete the aircraft and re-install it

Thanks

Hmm that is quite strange. We haven't observed any outright CTDs with the A320Neo V2 on our end.

You could also try to change your graphic settings and see if that makes a difference (in case its to do with some kind of rendering/driver/shader cache bug).

Thanks!

Good morning

I deleted and reinstalled the A3320 neo V2 but the issue remained.

But, you were right. I changed just one setting on my Nvidia control panel at the 3D setting as seen below, "preferred graphic processor"= Auto-Select.

Now is loading and running.

Thank you
