FelixM Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 Hi, unfortunately I bought EGLL over the market place and I saw that on my other products I can actually configure the airport in the Ini-Manager. The reason Iam bringing that up is that with both the Fenix and the PMDG I experience a smooth experience at EGLL except that there is a heavy freeze/stutter every 5 second approx. I have cleared dx/gl shader files, i have cleared rolling cache, in fact i do not use rolling cache at all. also updated nvidia driver etc. I have a pretty strong system and on other heavy scenery airports i dont experience that (tested several airports inibuilds jfk, corfu flytampa etc). BTW I also tried to turn off online functionality completely so even with no photogrammetric data at all there is this freeze or stutter. I also set LOD to 20 same freeze stutter. Only on EGLL. I also deinstalled the Asobo version. 1. Do you have an idea what can cause that? Or what I can do? 2. I read that there might be a chance to transfer my market place order to an order so that I can use my ini manager. Here I could try to configure the airport better, maybe that helps. At the time I bought this i didnt know about the drawbacks of that damn marketplace. If there is a fee for that I would pay it. Thx for your time and best regards, Felix ---------------------------------- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 32 GB RAM Dell Alienware AW3432DWF 3440 x1440 165 Hz

It is very odd, I'm using the marketplace version of the EGLL in testing regularly on my rig (5800x3D, 3090, 32GB RAM @ 4K res) with our A320Neo and A300 recently and haven't experienced any consistent stuttering caused by the scenery. I have experienced instances of regular interval stuttering happening when the simconnect connection is being overloaded/stuck open (for example by Navigraph's Simlink, LittleNavMap or Volanta) wherein it is solved by restarting the relevant 3rd party app. Also occasionally stuttering caused by autosave functions in certain trackers or FSUIPC7. Perhaps worth looking into? Things to try: Clear your scenery index: Run with an Empty Community Folder temporarily to eliminate any conflicts: 1. Rename your existing community folder to ``_Community`` 2. Create a new ``Community`` folder in its place. 3. Run the sim and see if same problem persists. After finished testing, you can close the sim, and restore your original folder as follows: 1. Delete the new ``Community`` folder you made 2. Rename the ``_Community`` folder to ``Community`` Try without any of the 3rd party apps (Simlink, Volanta, LittleNavMap etc) listed above to see if they may be causing an issue. 22 hours ago, FelixM said: I read that there might be a chance to transfer my market place order to an order so that I can use my ini manager. Yes you may request an order transfer from: http://inib.uk/order-transfer It is free of charge, simply fill the form with required info and you should receive a response via email usually within ~7 working days. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. Thanks! Vrishabh Sehgal ( @Richboy2307 ) Community Team Member & Tester IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
Mark_Hazeldine Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 (edited) Just to weigh in on this. I also get some bad stutters in the Heathrow area in MSFS2020 (with Orbx London Landmarks also installed). I originally had the Marketplace version, but transferred it to the iniManager version, and updated to the latest 3.1.1. It did improve things, but I still get 2 or 3 massive stutters in the area between the City of London down to runways 27L/R. The biggest one happens somewhere around The Shard area as I manoeuvre onto the localizer. Then I get a couple of smaller ones on the way down, especially one usually below 500ft. I have an i9 13900K, 64GB RAM, NVMe hard drive, 4080 GPU and fibre internet. I have tried turning all traffic off, and reducing scenery right down to low settings and turning photogrammetry off. It's pretty bad in the Fenix A320, but I've noticed it even happening in GA aircraft. I don't have such a problem at other busy airports like Gatwick or Stansted. I could be wrong, but it seems like at certain distances, the LOD is changing and the sim is briefly having to load in a ton of stuff and causing my CPU main thread to max out. I am hoping that 2024 will reduce this, but I still think it might be a scenery optimisation issue. Edited December 12, 2024 by Mark_Hazeldine
