Plane's Head looks so strange! Is this modiling error?

Featured Replies

Does anyone notice the odd shape of the plane's head? it feels like the size of the body and head is incorrect. It looks like an indentation between the connection of the plane's body and head is this how the plane looks in real life(really doubt it) or is it a modeling error? I have some in-game screenshots VS real life, if it is an error will the inbuilds team fix it??

It feels like the head of the plane is built in 3 parts and glued together

We're open to feedback and making improvements where necessary. However there are currently no plans to update the external fuselage model of the A300.

If you have any more detailed, specific references please feel free to share. However in my personal opinion, I do not see the issue you are trying to point out from anything shown above as yet.

Thanks!

Yes it is a modeling problem, not only on the a300 but also on the 320, 330, 321. It looks like there was just a copy paste it with minor changes. If you are doing a walkaround and you are close to the fuselage looking up you can see the squashed part inwards which in real life is linear and not pressed. Also some time ago I and other users pointed out flaws in the cockpit model where cockpit windows were the wrong size(too big compared to irl) but it was ignored despite the fact that they said these issue were taken under consideration. There are so many problems with this plane and other ini planes, I know many consider inibuilds a great company but now it seems like it is just making too many planes in a short time and done wrong. My personal opinion…

this was the topic about window sizes etc. that has now been closed (about a year ago)

You're right. It seems very strange. Not only the head, but also the nose looks strange. The cockpit window size is also very large.
Overall, the modeling is very bad. But the biggest problem is that they have no intention of correcting these facts, nor do they intend to admit them.

And compared to the real photo, the internal modeling of the cockpit is also a mess.

Like Rich said above, please provide references if you feel it is a "mess" and we'll log it internally for a future revision pass if we find it necessary.
As a personal note, when there are minor issues you feel are present, generalizing all of the 3D work as "very bad" is unfair. We are open to constructive criticism always however calling everything "very bad" is undoubtedly the opposite of that.

Thank you

Its strangeness is always explained by the user by comparing it to the actual photo.

However, while inibuilds says there is no problem, they have never explained why.

If there is no problem, you need to prove that there is no problem by comparing it with the actual photo.

I compared all the pictures of the cockpit of the A300 on Google. And very disappointed.
If you have internet access in the inibuilds office, I recommend comparing it to the actual A300 photos.
