Mogas Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Hello! First I must say I enjoy flying the A300! However after the last couple of updates (can't pinpoint which one as I have been away for a few months) the aircraft is acting weird when flying on straight legs. It has constant Airlenon input to keep flying straight, it also alternates between left and right aileron. I have checked the rudder and it's centered. I have also reinstalled the aircraft and it is still there. Any input would be nice! (attached picture of the constant aileron input)
richboy2307 Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Hi, Can you please also confirm if you are noticing this issue without your hardware controllers connected? Or if there may be any bindings for aileron trim or rogue (wrong) aileron axis inputs affecting this? Check your bindings to see if there is a particular axis bound to aileron that shouldn't be, or that there isn't any jitter in your axis inputs. Thanks! Mogas Posted May 27 Author Posted May 27 Hi! I can confirm it still happens without my hardware plugged in. I have also checked and deleted any rogue trim/axis binds. I would not suspect a hardware issue as all other planes fly well in my sim.
richboy2307 Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Hmm, are you using any assists or auto rudder that could be causing issues? Or is there some imbalance in between left and right thrust/fuel load that could be causing constant correction? The only other report we've received of this issue in the past the user claimed the issue "fixed" itself after a reinstall. While I'm not certain that is the issue here, it wouldn't hurt to try? Mogas Posted May 27 Author Posted May 27 Hi again! Thanks for the assistance! It seems to have been something relating to the auto rudder or auto aileron. Seams like MSFS automatically activated those features in some update and I didn't notice. After turning all of those functions off it now seems to be working correctly again! Again, thank you for the great support! 1
