flyer972 Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Hi, Great airport scenery (used to be my home airport). I don't know why this happens but there is a large "fold" stretching on TWY B from gate 5 all along abeam gate 9. This makes taxiing in or out from gates 5-9 virtually impossible. Since there is a size limit on the pictures I can attcah, I cna't show you the whole problem. Any ideas ??
Erik Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I do not see this issue in my sim... Could it be that you still have other scenery of Luton/nearby Luton installed?
flyer972 Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 I was thinking about it but all the other airport sceneries are also Inbuilds. (EGLL, EGSS). I also have the free EGXU (Duxford) but this is way north of EGGW. I have Orbx's region GB central and north mesh but again, I had no issues with any add on scenery at that region before. I assume I can start removing add ons until I get to the one which is causing the problem (or not) but it shouldn't be that way. So, I'm still puzzled.

To rule out any add-on sceneries you can rename your Community folder to CommunityX. Create a new community folder and only install Luton.
flyer972 Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 Well, done as you suggested. Ini Luton is the only one in the community folder. No change whatsoever. If any, I can now spot the fold even in Stand 1.
flyer972 Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 You can see the extent of the fold looking at the the image below.
richboy2307 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Hi, can you confirm you have BING DATA WORLD GRAPHICS and PHOTOGRAMMETRY enabled in the settings? Offline mode is not supported by this scenery as significant terrain elevation data is missing for this area with those options disabled. Thanks! flyer972 Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 Hi Vrishabh, Yes, these options are enabled. I do turn them off from time to time as they create stutter but they have been enabled since this scenery was installed.
richboy2307 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Ok thanks. Could you try steps 3 & 4 specifically from this post? Also make sure to run the sim with only iniBuilds EGGW initially. Report back if you still notice these issues. At the moment I'm unable to reproduce any such terrain issues *unless* switching to offline mode. Thanks! flyer972 Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 Hi again, I have followed the instructions as described but the problem persists.
flyer972 Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 I've deleted and reinstalled EGGW via the IniManager. No change. Other Ini (EGLL and EGSS) sceneries where reinstalled plus some other 3rd party. This issue seems to be limited to EGGW. All other parts of the scenery looks fine ( from TWY E abeam stand 80 onwards to D and to the RWY and to the other side via B abeam stand 3 onwards to the RWY)
richboy2307 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Can I just check if you have installed the World Updates, specifically the free "World Update 3 | United Kingdom" from the in-game marketplace? Also check your content manager for any marketplace addons that may be affecting this? Vrishabh Sehgal ( @Richboy2307 ) Community Team Member & Tester IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
flyer972 Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 Took me a while but I found the culprit. UK2000 scenery that was installed 2 years ago and I thought it was removed. Thanks for all the help.
richboy2307 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Ah there we go. Good to know, thanks! Vrishabh Sehgal ( @Richboy2307 ) Community Team Member & Tester IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
