Painting iniBuilds A300 MSFS Community Paintkit flap fairings problem.

Hello,
I downloaded the iniBuilds A300 MSFS Community Paintkit, and I painted the end of the flap fairings in red.

However, after finishing it, I noticed that there is a blank space at the end of the flap fairings flat surface (including the antenna).

Could you please help me identify the location of this area in the Wing Master file?

Thank you.

Hello!

It sounds like you're working on some great details for your paint job! The blank space you're seeing at the end of the flap fairings is likely due to the way the texture mapping works in the Wing Master file.

To locate the area you're referring to, you'll need to open the Wing Master file and check the UV mapping around the rear flap fairing area. In many paint kits, the flat surface near the flaps, including areas like antennas or small panels, are often mapped in a way that's separate from the main surface textures.

If you have access to the UV map of the A300, I would recommend looking for the flat section at the rear edge of the wing, just where the flap fairings meet the rest of the wing structure. This should help you pinpoint the exact part of the texture that’s responsible for the missing area. You might also want to check if that space is blank or if it's intended to be covered by another texture layer, such as the antenna.

Once you’ve identified it in the texture map, you can either paint over it or extend your texture to fill in the gap.
