Opening Doors Overstresses the aircraft

Featured Replies

Trying to understand what I am doing wrong. Every time I open the doors either at a gate or remote stand and in either cold/dark or up and running the game immediately goes to the "you overstressed the aircraft and caused damages" is there a setting I need to change or is there something wrong with the install

That's a MSFS setting -- go into Assistance Options and turn off all damage selections (via MSFS Settings).

I'm having the same issue.  If I connect the jetway, luggage belt or caterer, the "you overstressed the aircraft" is displayed.

If I turn off Aircraft Stress Damage, it doesn't happen.

Seems like a bug to me as no other plane stock or add-on does this.

Same thing happens to me when using the stairs with GSX. Turning the damage off option may solve the problem but, in my opinion, it should not be like that. Can you please look into it?, Thank you.

Asobo has a wonky damage engine.  Known Asobo issue.  Turn the stuff off.
