Hi,

I purchased the P-40F today from the Xbox marketplace and I'm using it on a Series X. I thought I'd try it out selecting a direct from runway departure. When I select full throttle with my T.Flight Hotas One, the animation shows the throttle moving as expected, but it then simply cuts out despite me keeping the throttle level forward. When I try and reapply throttle, the same behaviour is repeated and the animation shows the throttle moving back of its own accord and fluttering not in accordance with the throttle inputs. I have however managed to fly the aircraft by starting from cold and dark. All the other aircraft I own, including some higher fidelity models are flight configured and can take off when a runway departure is selected. I've tried reasonable troubleshooting - uninstall/reinstall, clear rolling cache, restart sim and console, disconnecting the Hotas and trying the Xbox controller with no success. I'm surprised to find this issue isn't reported elsewhere. I'm using the latest beta update version of the sim 1.33.6.0. Could that have anything to do with it?

SOLVED It would appear that the latest beta download had caused all of my assistance options to default to 'easy'. I reverted to my custom setup and the aircraft is now a joy to fly! Seems peculiar that auto-assists could render the aircraft unflyable, but that does seem to be the case here. Out of interest, is the instruction manual in the process of being rewritten? It's just that I can only access a front page graphic file specific for the xbox version online, with no downloadable manual links available. Thanks.
