Systems freeze after entering computed hold on sec-fpl

As above - after SU12 the problem persists. I don't use fsuipc, navigraph data or simbrief import. After entering by hand the flightplan (init a and b pages populated with fob and weights as well), was entering the EOSID procedure in sec-fpl before engine start. I created the sec fpl by hand - by entering the same airport icao in from/to, then dep RWY with no sid, Point-bearing-distance as per EOSID using airport runway as reference point. The last point of eosid is a hold, as soon as i press the hold function to insert a computed hold on the point-bearing-distance fix the MCDU I'm using goes blank and all systems/buttons etc stop working. Sadly will not have much time on hands to fire up the sim and try to replicate the issue...

Heya!

I can enter a hold at the end of a SID on the sec-fpl without an issue. Which departure/sid did you select?

So I managed to replicate it on another occasion.

bat 123 on

ext power on

IRS 132 nav

init dep/arr

route: LIEE/32 N0468F300 KOVA5Q KOVAS Q125 UREXE T1 APSUX Q710 TINTO L5 VALMA L865 TAQ Z242 SOVAN L995 AMTEL Q58 GOXIN Z43 OTGIG OTGI2F LIPZ/04R

Check on plan mode on pfd

Set FL and init b

sec fpl: LIEE/LIEE

LIEE32

pbd: LIEE32/317/8

computed hold on pbd and - bingo!

MCDU are freezed

mmh, wasn't able to reproduce this. Are you able to get it to crash every time?

Yes. I did it a couple of times and I think I can reproduce it at different airports. I even captured a screen recording of what I was doing to present the exact sequence. I think the step to crash it consistently is to have the ND in plan mode showing the entirety of what’s going on and maybe to have the FL and weights inserted. I will try to upload the clip to you tube this evening and will send a link.

Thanks in advance!

Ok, so here’s the first one, which is the “common” way I found to crash it:

the second one is a bit more strange - it didn’t freeze as it always does but a bit later:

thank you all! I really hope I was able to contribute to improve this amazing plane!
