Dr. D. Miron
Good evening everyone ! I am a proud father of MSFS2020 for one week and purchased EGLL just two hours ago . I have (probably mistakenly) installed EGLL in a folder in which I store all my downloads. As a result I have a new folder for EGLL including all what are needed for the scenery. I am lost, how can I cure the situation and install correctly this marvellous scenery? Thanks and be blessed you all, Kind Regards - Dr. Miron
gumbyger
Heya! You will need to move the EGLL folder to your MSFS Community folder. You should be able to find it either here, if you are using the Steam Version: Steam\steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator\Community or here Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community or here if you have the MS Store Version: Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community Hope this helps 🙂
Dr. D. Miron
Hi Gumbyger, First of all, thanks! Regretfully I am unable to move the Egll folder into the community folder: copy-paste option is impossible, this option dosent even exists. (my platform is Win11) So back to square one 😒 ... Dr. D. Miron
Hi, To my dismay, nothing works. For a reason in the the community file the paste file is not enlighted therefore unabe to transfer the EGLL folder there. Please tell me, is the option of removing thru the inibuild menu and then reinstalling EGLL, allowing the system to do the work, is the only solution, I dont see any other option. gumbyger
Yes, you can also change the destination of your MSFS folder in the iniManager and just install again.
Dr. D. Miron
Thanks a lot Gumbyger ! Will just inquire now where and how can I locate the folder (in full) where EGLL is now located. Once again, hearthly tks
gumbyger
It's right here in this field in the settings of the Manager. 🙂 You can click into the field, then press CTRL + A and CTRL + C to first mark the entire box and then copy the path.
