Hi,

Is it possible to have time acceleration for lonng haul flights?

Thank you.

MSFS has the ability to do time acceleration.  I have bound a rocker switch on my CH Yoke for sim rate + or sim rate -

As for the iniBuilds A310-300, yes I have used up to 4x time compression in cruise with no problem.  I'm not sure how it would handle 8x but just to be safe I've only done 4x.

I use an app called "SimRate Bandit" available at flightsim.to which has a verbal callout "sim rate 1", "sim rate 2", etc. when I switch.

Heya!

So sorry I never answered to this, I must have missed it when you initially posted it 😕

What Mace said it correct though, 4x time acceleration is possible with the A310 using the default system of MSFS 🙂

Using the default key bindings of 'r' followed by ctrl + / ctrl - doesn't seem to work for time acceleration in the A310. Is it supposed to?

Hmm ok, it definitely does not for me. Also tried mapping sim rate increase / decrease to hotas buttons, and nothing, no impact at all in the A310. Jumped into a different plane (787), time acceleration works. Any way to try and debug it?
