I bought a Lenovo gaming laptop and found that with the default highest graphics settings (some settings weren't maxed out), the frame rate when flying the A220 was 4 times higher (20 frames per second) than when I flew the A220 on a handheld console.

The tragedy is that I don't own a desktop computer; my laptop is a 2016 Lenovo X270. So I've been relying on SteamDeck for gaming. Its graphics card is similar to a GTX 1050, and its CPU is a quad-core with a frequency of 2.4 GHz, capable of running at a maximum speed of 3.5 GHz.

Hmm, Steamdeck is a handheld console, but many models (PMDG777, 737, INIBUILID SA300, and A350) only reach a maximum frame rate of 20-30. Its performance isn't as powerful as desktop PCs, but this is the first time I've seen a console this laggy as the 220.

MFS2020 does not seem to have the same machine inspection function as 2024.

Even after my 2020 push for the 1.03V update, I still experience stuttering and low frame rates. I'll continue to look forward to future optimization updates. I doubt anyone else plays MFS 2020 on SteamDeck like me, so I switched to playing on the A350. However, I was surprised to find that I couldn't remove the chocks. I've never encountered this problem on the A220 or A300. I tried removing the chocks in EFB, but they remained visible from the outside cockpit view, and EFB displayed "Chocks Removed".

I'd actually been really looking forward to this A220 and Justflight F100 70 bundle all year, but since the A220, whose performance might not be particularly "impressive," was released first, I bought it anyway. However, I could wait and see how it improves; otherwise, given the performance of my SteamDeck laptop, I might regret buying this addon for the rest of my life.

You should be glad you still have a computer. I'm using a Steamdeck handheld console. Yes, this thing can play MFS2020. Normally, when I fly PMDG737, A300, or A346, my average frame rate is stable at 30-28. However, when using the A220 plugin, my highest FPS is when the engine isn't running. I'm flying to AYPY airport, which isn't heavily loaded. On the ground, the FPS is around 20, but it drops to 2 frames after the engine starts. Also, the MCDU has problems. When manually inputting departure and arrival airport information, pressing any key is unreliable, as if it's not adapted for the controller at all. It can't import the route data I need like it does with the A300; it keeps showing "PENDING." Even when I connect the GPU, it still inexplicably shuts down.
