Regarding RNAV approaches, I can confirm that the plane will only follow vertical and lateral profile IF you set APPR mode before IAS point.
If you set APPR after IAS, it will only follow lateral profile.
I have tested in two RNAV approaches (LPPR and LEMD). The only diference was that in LPPR (rnw35 only has RNP) there is a pink diamond like in ILS, but in LEMD (rnw 18R has both RNAV and ILS approaches), there was a double diamond in the PFD.
Both attempts were with LS off.
I don't know if it is supposed to behave like this or not. Just a statement.
Didn't try yet a RNAV with circle approach, like LPMA rnw 05.
