Heya! I purchased the B-1B Lancer yesterday on the Xbox Marketplace and I must say, I quite enjoy the aircrafts. However, there are some things I wish to see improvements and changes on to make the aircraft a little bit more immersive. 1. Allow for users to turn off Automatic Wing-Sweep. Fue to the 0.2 Mach difference for manual control of the wing-sweep, it makes for a bit of an awkward flight when you're going across the pond with the wings in full aft. In real life, as far as reference material and knowledgeable individuals have indicated, It is fully manual. 2. Allow users to use Keybind Increase Cowl Flap 4/Decrease Cowl Flap 4 to control Wing-Sweep Angle. This would allow for much more convenient and precise control of the Wing-sweep angle instead of Toggle Water Rudder. 3. Decouple Autothrottle from Autopilot. As of right now, Autothrottle is unusable if Autopilot is not enabled. It will either completely shut off thrust to Idle or Full Afterburner, being unable to Maintain the set speed. The reason why I would like to see this decoupled is that IF Autopilot is enabled, You lose all Roll and Pitch controls, forcing users to use the heading knob.. which isn't ideal if you're performing AAR which requires precise movements. 4. This one is completely optional, but adding a toggleable Targeting Pod Model would be nice. Whether it has to be set through the weight menu or just a switch in the cockpit would add a bit of missing detail to the actual B1-B Lancer. The Targeting Pod is permitted to be published on the Marketplace without issues given other products which have it. I hope this post doesn't cause too much trouble, and I certainly wish that the development team will consider some of these suggestions. Happy Flying! 🙂
