  1. A gooooooood start. But too clean. Way too clean ๐Ÿ™‚ the dirt and grime must ooze out of every nut and rivet. But wait you said it is new - how new is this livery design by Lufthansa? If it is freshly painted of course it looks more realistic in pristine condition.
  2. After being used to the moderate fuel consumption of the Fenix I was not prepared for the hundred tons take-off weight and the thirsty turbines of this beast! Here is one of my test flights where my fuel assumption (which is what an average CFM56 probably needs to fly this track +1 ton for unprepared winds) miserably failed. Because it is no CFM56 but a General Electric which is so thirsty it wants to get the Jet A1 pumped in by a firehose. Enjoy... ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. What this plane can simulate a hot-start? Wow this is AWESOME!! The Black Square TBM and the Hotstart Challenger are the only two other planes being able to simulate one. Because I have no checklist for the A300 I donยดt know when fuel is introduced into the combustion chambers so I fly it like the Fenix Airbus just a bit more retro, and wait until N2 is on 24% which seems to be the limit of the starter. Awesome I absolutely need trying to provoke a hot-start just to see what happens ๐Ÿ™‚ is 5% N2 good for a hot-start? The APU maintenance guy is already looking forward to replace the burned out turbine fan disk!
  4. Hmmm I made three fully automated testflights with auto-land so far, with manual flight path programming, and the autopilot and also the ILS always worked flawless. Impressive how this old retro computer system cannot draw curves on the screen but the plane itself is cutting corners flying a smooth path. Love this plane, it is awesome! I was especially impressed that the internet said Bergen Lufthavn ILS frequency 109.90 with 27nm range, and somewhere below 30nm the A300 slowly begun to catch the ILS signal and started following the glide path down. I made it even more difficult for the MCDU when testing the systems by programming a flight path with vectors directly above the landing runway, but the machine left the pre-programmed MCDU waypoint course to catch the ILS, just like it should. Awesome. (I have not tested VNAV in the MCDU but manually went up to 10.000 and back to 3000 to catch the ILS. I rarely use pre-programmed MCDU-VNAV.) Everything seems to be fine with the autopilot. I never fly by hand and found no problem with the automatic systems so far. Maybe you encountered a glitch in the simulator or a simbrief problem.
  5. Congratulation to this masterpiece of a plane, a marvel of development art and beauty! Everything is very highest standards and quality, I have just found one flaw in 3D modeling of the passenger cockpit+cabin: the passenger window rubber isolation and window frame is not placed very well in some of the forward area windows. Affected are the first class windows 2 3 6 7 8 9. And the second class windows 4 5. I hope some day your awesome 3D developers are going to fix this little flaw for the sake of perfect 3D modeling and perfect passenger views.
