What about the alleged workaround (set sim date to 24 December or earlier)? Does it really help? Away from sim so cannot test for myself.

I have the same impression, never seen a flex different from 59 degrees C.

I noticed that the landing weight displayed on the approach page is a few tons too low. I´m not sure if this affects the Vapp calculation. In this case, notice the GW is 118.8, Fuel is 13.3, and landing weight shows as 107.1. Fuel prediction shows EFOB as 7.4. I would expect the LW to be around 118.8 - (13.3 - 7.4) = 112.9
