switch viewpoints to make sure it is set properly.
Switch viewpoints? You can tell the parking brake is on or off by looking at the PFD though.

Oh, you mean you want to hear the gear coming down while in the cabin?

Yes, what 559AS said. When Singapore did that route with the A340-600, I believe they used an all business class configuration so the passenger load was much less than a standard configuration A346. I was able to plan that route successfully in simbrief by dropping the passenger load down to 100ish. Also it's possible Singapore Airlines also has an exception or something, to use different enroute reserve fuel planning, which allows them to legally take less reserves for the enroute portion.
-
Which variant, the 900 or 1000? I did one 9 hour flight with the 900 so far using the simbrief profile without any adjustment and I was using less fuel than planned. By the time I was at top of descent I was up by almost 5000lbs. Did you enter the step climbs and winds into the FMS?
-
I use trackir and I find that any slight movement of my head when I'm looking at the FMS makes the curse unable to click. The solution for me is to remain extremely still, or more easily, I have a button to pause my trackir and freeze the camera in place and then it works. But I think it's the movement that causes issues.

If it's realistic, then what's the point of managed speed? I doubt it.
Okay found it. You can see the indicated airspeed kinda hanging out below target at 44:36 and 45:21. Again it might still be a bug for the inibuilds, or maybe an unintentional realistic behaviour. The real thing does very slowly adjust pitch to catch back up to the target but it's not perfect

Probably is a bug, but remember the real things aren't perfectly flawless either. They experience weirdness every now and then, even the brand new stuff. If I can find that video where they were climbing and the IAS was 5ish knots below the target speed on YouTube again I will send it to you if you don't mind

I successfully entered a 2 mile offset while on a NAT track. I set the offset to start at DINIM and end at waypoint 4750N which was drawn correctly on the ND but when the plane reached 4750N, it started to make a 180 degree turn.

also it would be nice to have the option in OIS to override the options locked by the file.
This is a middle ground I can work with. I use pounds even for European carriers. Give me lbs or give me death.

You know it's funny you mentioned this. I have noticed it sometimes, and I could have sworn I've see the same on real world videos of the A350 climbing slight below the target speed. So it might be a bug, or it might be realistic.

Yeah the touchdown sounds could be improved. At the moment I have no idea I've landed unless I see the ground spoilers extend on the flight control page. So some nice feedback would be cool.

Naah. I like it the way it is.

It does work. You need to set up the radio panel properly.

I'm guessing they tuned the sounds from the perspective of the cockpit, so it's likely engine sounds are going to be quieter than they are in the cabin.

Also the zfw and fuel entries on the fuel and load page are in pounds but the fuel predictions in the flight plan page are all in KGs. Like how did the beta testers miss that. 🙄
Suggestion on future patches.

Hi. I don't know what kind of policy you guys have on releasing updates, if you plan on releasing them weekly or what, but I completely understand not working on the weekend. However in the future maybe you guys can consider releasing updates on a Wednesday or Thursday instead of Fridays. That way if the update breaks anything (like it has broken the plane now) you can release a quick emergency hot fix before the weekend. I dunno though.
Anyway I greatly appreciate the work you guys have done and I'm looking forward to seeing this product improve as more things get added and can't wait to see what you have planned next.
