  1. Hi. How do I enter an alternate route? One that runs from the destination to the alternate airport? I know how to do it in the 320 family but that method doesn't seem to work in the 350

  2. You likely pressed a button on your keyboard or joystick that is also mapped to one of the flight controls in msfs controls assignment menu. It shouldn't happen while the autopilot is on, so until it's fixed you can probably fix it by disconnecting your autopilot and giving your joystick and rudder a wiggle.

  3. I think you might be pressing a button or key that also controls rudder or ailerons and when you plugged your joystick out and in again it reset the flight controls.

At least that's what happened to me. I saved my different views to my numpad keys, and realise when I used one of them the rudder kept deflecting, causing the ailerons to counter it. So I had to go in the msfs controls and make sure nothing else was assigned to the numpad keys.

  4. Did you try adjusting the interior engine sound volume in the OIS options?

As for the pack sounds fading away. I think in some planes the pack airflow changes as the system switches between the different stage engine bleed sources as thrust is demanded etc. I'm not sure if that is what's going on here, or if it's happening in the reverse. I haven't read up on the A350 bleed systems yet.

Before take off checklist from the CL menu - the T.O. Perf Normal - this displays in green, even though the T.O. Perf check button has not been pressed - this is correctly displayed in blue on the ECAM but on the checklist it's already ticked off as Green.

On a similar note. On the landing checklist, the flaps are sensed as in the landing configuration when flaps are 3, but on the upper ecam the flaps part of the landing memo is blue until flaps are full.

  6. On the D-ATIS page, sending request for weather while the drop down is on DEP or ARR always brings up the metar. Only when selecting NONE, does it pull in the ATIS from VATSIM

  7. On the FCTL page the trim is shown in units, on the PFD it's is shown in "percentage mean aerodynamic chord" I think. All in all, they both work out to be the same thing. Some companies that operate the A320 family for example, prefer to set trim using the percent method, because it eliminates incorrect trim setting errors. For example, you may accidentally set the trim 1.5 units down instead of 1.5 units UP. So using the percentage prevents that kind of error.

  8. I was having problems getting the D-ATIS to work. Everytime I go to ATC COM - D-ATIS, it pulls the metar for the airport. However if I set the drop down box from DEP or ARR, to NONE then I can get the ATIS if there is one available on VATSIM.

Would be nice if it were the other way around, where selecting DEP or ARR would pull the departure or arrival ATIS if those are in use on VATSIM, and if you want just the metar then set the drop down to NONE.

Tbh, to this day I still don't even know what this button is used for..

I think it is used to view the other side OIS. Useful if you want to make sure the FO put in the correct info for takeoff calculations or to see what charts they're looking at.

  10. Appreciate getting the 1.0.3 update out to us, it's working great! I would just like to report a couple minor bugs

    1. When set to LBS, the landing weight on the APP page has a T next to it instead of LBS

    2. The apu fuel used still shows quantity in KG on the APU page.

    3. If there is NONE as alternate in simbrief, when importing flight plan, the MCDU give an airport not in database Message.
