  1. Hey! I'm not sure if this is MSFS related, Asobo 787 related or Inibuilds JFK related but figured I would report it anyway.

So if I spawn up at the gate at JFK, I get about 60 fps in the sim and some minor stutters but nothing too bad.
However, if I fly fro LGW to JFK in the 787 (approx 7,5 hours) my frames at JFK are severely degraded. On about 15DME it's all good, about 60fps.
At final however where LODs from JFK loads in my fps decreases drastically to about 30fps, and by the time I arrive at my gate I could be down to 15 degrees and the stutters are massive. I'm not good at troubleshooting exactly what is draining my performance, but if I fly into FlyTampa Boston, Taxi2Gate MCO, Flightbeam IAD I don't have these issues. I had the same issue flying into LAX a few weeks ago and would get 20-30 fps on final, but if I reload the sim and depart from LAX I would be back at 60 fps. So my theory is that there is some issue in regards with how LAX and JFK are rendering in the sim that takes a toll on the performance in the sim.

Anyone else had similar experiences? This was with the newest 1.1.0 update

  2. Saw this on FSDeveloper. Inibuilds apparently soon to release a very large EU airport (and a job opening for someone to convert it to P3D and make a few thousand dollars)
Has this airport been announced yet? If not, what do you guys think/hope it is?

A bit tricky to tell what qualifies as a "very large airport" but personally I'm hoping for Heathrow (if very large means that large) or something like Malaga which is still large, but not very large in my opinion.

Sadly, they are still out of date when it comes to registration. They were just ported over to the cargo variant (which is a very welcome update of course)

I'll just continue to wait patiently I guess 😅 Thanks for the response

Let me know how it goes. Fingers crossed here. If you still get annoying texture bleeds then we can try some edits to the elevation data.

Hey, thanks for the help! Sadly, it didn't work. It removed the base P3D stuff but there is still some sort of ground photoscenery that overlaps the actual airport. Same bleeding as before. From the sky it looks fine, but the closer I get to the ground it gets replaced by the photoscenery

All that said, if you're up for trying to fix it yourself, I'd be happy to try and answer any questions you have along the way.

I will give it a go. I've used ADE to fix default buildings shining through add-on scenery but not changed airport elevation or anything else.
I'd be happy to give it a try myself, but I would definetly need some sort of guide or tutorial on how to do it. 🙂

  6. Hello! Big fan of the liveries and services you provide to the community.
However, I've found a few liveries that are missing certain things or are outdated. I sent you a PM on Facebook but figured it was worth putting it here as well!

First of all, the Peach Aviation liveries for the FSLabs are missing the over-wing registration on the right wing. IRL all Japanese airlines has registration both under the left wing
and above the right one. Besides that, these liveries seems fine.

Then it's your West Atlantic liveries which are outdated. IRL G-NPTB has been changed to SE-RLK and it's safe to assume that G-NPTA will change it's registration too, like
it's sister plane G-NPTC has (which now is SE-RLL) Perhaps it would be possible to change the registration of these to SE-RLL and SE-RLK to reflect their current state and future proofing?

Hope it would be possible to fix this up, as it seems like a rather quick tast to do, and really helps with immersion! 😄

    Regards
