While trying to engage the ap in the air, I get the sound you normally get when the A/T is disconnected. Could it be that some of my hardware interfere?
I do. The throttles do spool up to the correct N1 setting yet man thr remains displayed in the fma.
If I press that button while airborne, the aircraft will enter go-around mode. With the correct fma indications, however still man thr.
For some reason my auto throttle won't engage. I follow all the steps in the tutorials, however the FMA will only announce man thr in amber. On the MCP the A/THR won't engage either.
What am I doing wrong?
