Hi,

I am having great fun learning the A310 but am finding that I have a major issue using the MCDU and Tablet with my configuration settings, and a standard Xbox controller.

MCDU Issue

h the MCDU to enter a character, I have to press 'A' to select the key first and then 'A' again before the input is recognised for EACH different letter in use.  For example, setting the From/To of 'EGFF to EGCC' the process ends up being:

Move cursor to character E.  Click 'A' to select 'E', Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU.

Move cursor to character G.  Click 'A' to select 'G', Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU.

Move cursor to character F.  Click 'A' to select 'F', Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU.

Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU (second 'F')

Move cursor to character /.  Click 'A' to select '/', Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU.

Move cursor to character E.  Click 'A' to select 'E', Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU.

Move cursor to character G.  Click 'A' to select 'G', Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU.

Move cursor to character C.  Click 'A' to select 'G', Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU.

Press 'A' again to enter into the MCDU (second 'C')

Move cursor to top right MCDU button.  Click 'A' to select it.  Click 'A' again to enter the line input into the MCDU.

This is 16 button presses instead of what should be 9, making working with the MCDU very hard if (like me) you like to enter the FP yourself!

Tablet Issue

I seem unable to interact with tablet unless I have first activated the MSFS toolbar.  Is this by design?  Should I be able to just move my camera view and interact without having to do this un-necessary click?

If it helps, I have no tooltips / menu options being displayed when moving over buttons / controls on the plane.  I have it all switched off.

(Which made finding the dome light button a real challenge when starting from cold and dark, in the dark!) 😄
