Cristian Calvillo Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Hello, I have noticed the APU does not simulate fuel consumption when is running, there's any plan to add this feature in following updates? Cheers! 1 1
Deleted Account Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Heya, I asked in our internal chats if we model this, I´ll get back to you on this! APU fuel consumption however is basically negligible anyways as it uses so little 😄
OliveBeast20441 Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 The Honeywell GTCP331-250 APU can burn upwards of 500 PPH on the ground, depending on OAT. As well, if the APU bleed air was selected ON for any period of time, there is usually a two-minute cool down at idle once the APU Master switch is selected OFF. This is to prevent any distortion of the hot section turbine and prolong engine life. Just an observation to note for the design team if they ever wish to model this. Thank you otherwise for a wonderful airplane! Sincerely, Mark 2
Administrators iniBuilds Posted December 7, 2022 Administrators Posted December 7, 2022 Our APU does indeed consume fuel. 2
