thomastee Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 (edited) I apologize if this has been asked before but I found nothing on it. At times in the A310-300 the screen will dim both inside and outside the cockpit to a noticeable degree. At first I thought it might be a warning that I forgot to do or set something in the sim but it's almost random. Sometimes when I start the sim it's dimmed, other times it's not. It might be dimmed on descent and then clear when I get below 50ft. I don't think it's pressure or G related because it happens at level flight below 10k feet. None of my other X-plane 11 aircraft do this and it doesn't happen in P3D or MSFS2020 so it's not the monitor. I've watched the tutorial videos several times and I don't ever remember this being mentioned. Is this to notify me that something needs correcting? Tom Edited May 31, 2022 by thomastee misspelled
thomastee Posted May 31, 2022 Author Posted May 31, 2022 Okay, I think I figured it out. I'm not sure why but when I went through and started removing plugins, the issue seemed to have stopped after removing the plugin Enhanced Cloudscapes. I've restarted the sim a half a dozen times after removing that plugin and there is no screen dimming. Keeping my fingers crossed that this was the problem. Tom
