Air Conditioning sounds almost mute themselves whenever you print out in the A350

Featured Replies

Air Conditioning sounds almost mute themselves whenever you print out an ATIS, Loadsheet etc. in the A350.

I did a fresh reinstall and problem persists.

Don't fly this plane until a V2 release if they bother fixing this.

Hi,

Thanks for your report. Will test this on my side and forward to the devs.

Thanks again!

Yes, this is a common issue that started fairly recently (not sure if it was SU7 or before). Sometimes (maybe every 3 times?) printing the loadsheet makes the other sounds mute. Switching to external view and back again makes it normal again.

Does the sound come back after the printing is done? Or is switching to external view the only way to get the sounds back?

Thanks!

The only way to get it back is switching (at least within the short time I have waited before doing that).

It's actually really scary because when the background sound stops you think the sim may have crashed and your 15 min of cockpit prep was wasted.

Thanks. Have not been able to replicate this on my end, will continue to try!

I might be mistaken but it feels like it mostly happens upon the first printout (i.e. when you insert the company flight plan in the fms). I would say it happens maybe every 5--7 flights or so for me.

Perhaps it depends on aircraft state -- when I request and insert the CMPY F-PLN I have battery and external power on and basically nothing else (ADIRS ON but hard to imagine that makes a difference). Maybe try that?

EDIT

I was experiencing all of the above with the A350 in regard to sounds being muted to very low levels when either pausing the sim and resuming or certain sounds like the cockpit printer making noise as described above. It would appear that FSRealistic Plus is causing the issue for me personally as disabling this app seems to fix the problem on my installation.

I need to experiment more to see if I can narrow down the specific audio conflict with FSRealistic Plus that's causing issues with the A350, and I'll report back.

Possible for cockpit sound issue

With version 1.2.7, Inibuilds has not only completely botched the entire sound system but also reintroduced dozens of old bugs. As always, nothing was tested. The A350 has been completely unusable from the very start. It’s a disgrace to have spent money on this. Why don’t they consult professional testers before releasing something?

I have had this happen when pausing/unpausing in 1.2.7 now too, yes. I don't use FSRealistic.

I can confirm that in 1.2.7. the muting happens also during flight. I printed a D-ATIS and it got muted

While I understand you may be frustrated, I don't believe this is the most productive way to approach the forums.

My role here is to relay reported bugs directly to the developers. We have a great internal testing team, but none of the issues being reported here were identified or picked up during testing.

Everyone runs their sim differently, with countless combinations of hardware, settings, and third-party add-ons that can lead to different outcomes. This makes it difficult to pinpoint the root cause of an issue without more specific information.

Rather than letting frustration take over, I kindly ask that you list the specific bugs you're experiencing, along with any relevant details. I'll then be able to go through them with the team and help determine whether the issues stem from the aircraft itself or a potential conflict with a third-party add-on.

Constructive feedback helps us identify and address issues more effectively, and I appreciate your cooperation.

Thanks!

I can certainly understand that. My way of expressing myself can sometimes be a bit blunt when I’m frustrated—please don’t take it too seriously. At the end of the day, I’m just trying to help. That said, I don’t quite understand why I often notice so many things within just five minutes that seemingly no one else picks up on. Perhaps you should send the test versions to me as well; after nearly 40 years in the flight simulator business, I know exactly what to look for.

I would like to, but unfortunately, I was banned from the Discord in the past because of my criticism. You are the first person who takes my comments seriously instead of just blocking everything right away.
