September 20Sep 20 Is there any way to remove the blue highlight from the buttons in VR when I’m pointing with the controller? It’s really annoying, and the trick of switching the cockpit interaction mode to "legacy" only works in 2D. I was able to fix it on the iniA350 by editing an XML file, but I can't find anything similar for the A380.

September 21Sep 21 Author Thanks! I’m asking for something that should be equivalent to avoid the blue highlights in “Lock” cockpit interaction mode in 2D, because in VR it’s like the only interaction mode available it’s “Lock”, instead of “Legacy” mode that naturally don’t have the blue highlight.

Because if I would like to use “Locked” interaction system I get the annoying blue highlight, and in VR there isn’t a “Legacy” mode, so the blue highlight stay there.

In default works with blue highlight in locked mode, but the majority of third party aircraft like Fenix, BlueBird, iFly or PMDG keep the blue highlight away even in locked or in VR mode. In the iniA350 it’s possible to disable the blue highlight editing one .xml file called interactions or behavior or something like that, but I can’t find that file in the A380, maybe because is the MarketPlace version. Time ago in MSFS 2020 Fenix offers two separated interactions.xml files, one with the blue highlight and other one without it, because is a common sense in the sim community that this is an undesired effect.

You shouldn't need to edit any .xmls or use a mod to remove this.

And yes, we are talking about the correct menu setting.
