The Ground Power Unit (GPU) can still be requested and connected while the aircraft is in flight.

When airborne, the EFB/ground services menu still allows the ground power service to be activated. After activation, the GPU vehicles appear next to the aircraft in mid-air and the external power can apparently be connected/used.

This should normally be inhibited when the aircraft is not on the ground.
