Sunday at 09:05 PM1 day Hello, I am experiencing a major issue with the A340 FMGC / AOC systems. For the past week, the aircraft has been unable to download any operational data through the MCDU. The following functions fail every time:INIT REQUEST → returns “ERROR DOWNLOADING DATA”AOC FLT INIT → does not populate fields automaticallyAOC RTE UPLINK → no route uplinkVERIFY → SEND → does nothing, no uplinkFMGC does not receive any company route or weather dataI have attached screenshots showing:INIT page stuck with “ERROR DOWNLOADING DATA”AOC FLT INIT not receiving dispatch dataATC MENU and AOC MENU pages functioning, but uplink actions failVERIFY/SEND page not transmitting anythingI have already:Reinstalled the A340Cleared rolling cacheRestarted MSFS 2024Tried multiple airports (CYOW, KPHL, KIAD)Tried multiple flight numbersTested with and without SimBrief integrationThe issue persists across all flights. This looks like a deeper FMGC/AOC logic failure. Please advise — I have also submitted a Direct Support ticket 8 days ago but have not received a reply.Thank you.
13 hours ago13 hr Staff Hi,A couple things to go over:Can you confirm your simulator, aircraft and simbrief are all on the same AIRAC cycle? Have you logged into Navigraph/Hoppie/SayIntentions on the EFB?I've attached a few screenshots to verify everything is working on my end. Let me know if any of the steps above helped. Thanks! 10 hours ago10 hr Author Hi, thanks for the reply.I have verified all the items you requested:SimBrief AIRAC: 2609A340 EFB AIRAC: 2609 R1FMGC Active Navdata: 03SEP–01OCT (AIRAC 2609)Navigraph login: ActiveHoppie login: ConfiguredSayIntentions: Not required for FMGC uplinkAOC messages (like the loadsheet) DO arrive correctly, which confirms datalink connectivity. However, the following still fail every time:INIT REQUEST → ERROR DOWNLOADING DATAAOC FLT INIT → fields do not populateAOC RTE UPLINK → no route uplinkVERIFY → SEND → does nothingSince AIRAC cycles match and datalink messages are received, this appears to be an FMGC/AOC uplink logic issue rather than a configuration problem. Please advise on next steps.Thanks.
10 hours ago10 hr Staff I'll do some more troubleshooting on my end. Off the top of my head, I'm not entirely sure what's causing the issue, but I'll look into it further. Thanks for your patience! Kyle - Community Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
7 hours ago7 hr Author Thank you — I’m at a loss. I don’t understand what’s happening. It’s the only plane that stopped working right after the Navigraph update. The A350, works fine.
